Using painters tape to help reveal water migration helps the customer witness the problem immediately.
The picture is not that exciting, but a small indicator of where the water migrated to and what materials could possibly be affected in the ceiling.
This Las Vegas home experienced a huge water loss from a roof leak. SERVPRO of Centennial Hills was able to extract and dry the water that was coming through, but during our assessment we also discovered other areas of the house with these small ceiling stains which the owner said had been there for years. SERVPRO strongly recommended to the owner that these are telltale signs of that another roof leak that could happen again if not addressed. The homeowners made preparations and started the process of looking into further repairs to their roof.
